Why this is relevant

  • Pie charts and donut charts are a great way to show part-to-whole relationship, especially to show that one segment of the total is relatively small or large.

  • To show a clear split between two segments - in this example GENDER, or YES/NO answers, or IN/OUT etc

  • Prepare the data structure beforehand to simplify the creation of the charts
